Edward Snowden: "LEVITATION" is used by Canada to Spy on its own people`s Uploads and Downloads.

Most of Edward Snowden leaked documents from NSA was related to US and GCHQ. But Look what’s new here from his archives.

According to revealed documents, Canadian Government has maintained meta data collection system to actively monitor Citizens data of major file sharing websites, including Megaupload, RapidShare, and SendShare.  The “LEVITATION " dubbed System monitors as many as 15 Million Uploads and Downloads by common citizens from these file sharing websites. Most of data is consist of uploads, system tags almost 350 files per month as “interesting “to the authorities for further cascading and analysis of that data.


Just like the previous leaked procedure of collection of data by tapping directly into the internet by GCHQ, the “LEVITATION “ also works similarly. However, unlink NSA surveillance program, “Canadian Security Establishment” (CSE) has full and unbound access without Court oversight or supervision.
