KPK ban on Poultry products effecting pakistani exports to Afghanistan

KPK District Administration has imposed a ban on export of Poultry products to Afghanistan. This will  definitely adverse effect the local market of products as well as Pakistan will lose Afghan market in these competitive scenarios of and high demand during winters in Afghanistan.

This gap will quickly captured by Indian, Brazilian and Iranian products of poultry including eggs.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments has been provided in transit route to India, Brazil and the USA for food, eggs and poultry products but denying denying the exports of its countrymen in only on political basis.

The Pakistan Poultry Association chairmen Dr. Muhammad Mustafa Kamal said while talking to The Nation " Afghanistan is the natural market of Pakistan products. It would be very harmful and unfortunate If we lose this market and handover it to other countries and competitors. Export market is not an on,  off switch, once lost is very difficult to regain."

The PPA chairman added that " 10 percent of parent stock was used in Pakistan while the other 90 per cent is consumed by Afghanistan.
