19 killed as Taliban attacked Shiite Masjid in Peshawar, Pakistan
More than Three Gunman attacked on a Masjid in suburbs of Peshawar, North Western City of Pakistan today afternoon

Witnesses said the gunman wore the uniforms of paramilitary forces and exchanged fire with guards manning the main entrance of the mosque in Hayatabad Township at the time when worshipers were praying Friday prayers at afternoon here.

About 200 people were offering Friday prayers at Imamia Mosque at the time, officials said.

Police said the attackers scaled the mosque's main outer wall from the backside and wore vests laden with explosives. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province police chief Nasir Khan Durrani told reporters that four militants with explosive vests attacked the mosque. He said three of them blew themselves up but that the fourth's jacket could not explode

Three explosions were heard inside the compound.   Police said they defused the grenades and an explosive vest lying inside the mosque.

A similar kind of terrorist attack took place in an Shiite Masjid in Shikarpur District, Sindh,  Southern Province of Pakistan killing 55 people and dozens injured. 

The current wave of terrorist attack gain momentum after Pakistan Military Forces has started an Offensive  Military Operation names " Zarb-e-Azan" FATA region  of Pakistan with the Boarders of Afghanistan.
