Oscars Update | Birdman, The Grand Budapast Hotel, Boyhood & the Theory of Everything has Won the most

The 87th Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), honored the best films of 2014 and took place on February 22, 2015, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles beginning at 5:30 p.m. During the ceremony, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences presented Academy Awards (commonly referred to as Oscars) in 24 categories. The ceremony, televised in the United States by ABC, was produced by Neil Meron and Craig Zadan and directed by Hamish Hamilton. Actor Neil Patrick Harris hosted the ceremony for the first time.

Here is the complete list of winners; 

Birdman won 4 Oscars including Best Picture and Best Director

"Birdman" Directed by Alejandro G. Inarritu and starring Michael Keaton, the film is a darkly comic look at fame and ego. In a very tight race for the top prize, the film beat out other top contenders "Boyhood" and "American Sniper, won the 4 Oscars for best picture, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay & best Cinematography. 

Julianne Moore won her first Oscar as best actor for her film " Still Alice"

Julianne Moore won her first Oscar as best actor for her film " Still Alice" for the first time whereas, Oscar for best actor male category won by Film " Theory of Everything" actor Eddie Redmayne on ceremony held on  Sunday night's 87th Academy Awards.

The Oscar for the best adapted Screenplay has won by "The Imitation Game"  whereas, the Best Supporting Actress award has won by Patricia Arquette  for the film " Boyhood ". Oscar  for Category of  the Best Foreign Language Film has won by Russian documentary "Paweł Pawlikowski" for the film "Ida". Interstellar won the award of Best  Visual Graphics
