Microsoft is holding a press event at Mobile World Congress tomorrow morning to announce two new Windows 8.1 Phone Lumia devices i.e. Lumia 640 & Lumia 640 XL.

It appears that Microsoft is dropping part of its confusing numbering scheme in favor of simplified XL moniker. Leaked specifications suggest that the Lumia 640 will be a 5-inch device with 294 ppi along side 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage, all powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 processor. The same leak also claims that Microsoft is would have 8.7-megapixel camera at the rear of the device and a 1-megapixel camera at the front. It would be running Microsoft Windows 8.1 straight away from box.  Its noted in recent leaks that  Lumia 640 would allegedly a dual SIM smartphone that sports integrated digital television (DTV) and supports 3G and Bluetooth 4.0.

Talking about the other version Lumia 640 XL, it is presumably that Microsoft is launching Lumia 640 SL as successor to its flagship Lumia 1320, so it is bigger than the 5-inch Lumia 640 model. The leak does not specify other details about Microsoft Lumia 640 XL model.
